Service: Social, Sorted for LinkedIn
"Mon was personable, asked good questions and her approach was honest and direct without being judgemental or patronising. She met me where I was at."
— Debbie, Founder
The challenge
Debbie was posting on LinkedIn regularly, but without the structure to back it up. Her customer personas were partly built. Her content pillars existed in pieces. There was no calendar holding it together, just a stream of posts with no system underneath them.
It was taking up more headspace than it should have, for a founder whose time is already stretched thin running a boutique executive search firm.
"It was like I had a messy jigsaw with some parts complete and some parts missing or not put together."
Debbie met Mon at an event and the fit was immediate. What made her want to work together wasn't a pitch, it was the way Mon showed up.
"She was personable, asked good questions and her approach was honest and direct without being judgemental or patronising. She met me where I was at."
The result
The project has only just wrapped, so it's early days for results. What's already changed is how Debbie is operating.
"I now have everything I need in one place, which will enable me to leverage the benefits of AI tools better. I have a clear plan and I no longer need to lose headspace to questioning what I should be posting next and who I should be targeting."
The structure is also built to extend beyond Debbie herself.
"I have a structure in place that is going to enable my assistant to support me more easily."
Asked if she'd recommend Taiyo to someone in a similar position, Debbie didn't hesitate.
"It is reassuring to have a clear plan in place. The puzzle is beautiful to look at!"
"Mon is a delight and pleasure to work with. You'll have fun along the way."
The process
Reading the data. We started with Debbie's historical LinkedIn performance, looking at what had actually worked, not what should theoretically work.
Finishing the personas. Debbie's customer personas were half built. Taiyo completed them, sharpening who Title Consulting needed to be visible to and why.
Building the strategy around real audiences. The personas and the performance data came together into a content strategy with a deliberate emphasis on the audiences Debbie wanted to attract, not just the ones already engaging.
Putting it into a rhythm. All of it was translated into a monthly content calendar, rebalanced so every key persona gets targeted regularly instead of whichever one happened to inspire the last post.
